Exam season is in full throttle in our house š© and these fruity, crunchy, flapjacks were rustled up in preparation for the daily kitchen raid that occurs when the boys return home, ravenous.
Packed with seeds, oats, fruit and coconut, these bars are a great source of protein to boost energy and brain š§ function after a busy day. The high fibre levels ensure blood sugars donāt sink soon after eating, to see your teens (and you!) through to dinner.

Ingredients
3 mashed bananas
7 dates stoned and chopped
Handful of frozen blueberries
2 tbsp spoons of crunchy peanut butter
1 dessert spoon of honey
1 tbsp dedicated coconut
2 cups of oats
3 tbsp linseeds
2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
Method
šPreheat the oven to 180C
šMash the bananas
šRemove stones and chop dates
šAdd all ingredients to a bowl except for the honey and mix thoroughly
šline a baking tray with baking paper
šAdd the mixture to the baking tray, spreading it evenly
šDrizzle the honey over the top
šPlace in the oven for 15 minutes
